After eating at a local joint we came here to get the taste out of our mouths with some frozen custard. I, of course, lamented on how I wished we had come here instead of where we did eat. I always like Freddy's burgers when I was in OKC. Live and learn. We'll be back to eat soon.

Wow, this place wants to make me laugh and cry at the same time why did they have to open so close to my house? I was doing so well on my diet. I love ice cream no I guess I like ice cream I love custard and Freddys custard is awesome it seems like I struggle to drive past the place without stopping in for a huge concrete custard of some type and now it's gotten worse I stop for the burgers which I love also yes they are similar to a Winsteads burger or a Steak N Shake but I love the way they do the crust on the patty itself and the bun is a perfect match to everything else. Love the fries too but they are skinny fries so you have to eat them before they get cold. Everything taste fresher then other places they compare to. The staff is fast and customer focused. So I love this place..... no I hate it.... actually I love it.... really my diet... I hate this place.... Truth is I love it and I am going to keep going to it... just don't tell anyone.

I was on a junk food kick one afternoon and had a intense craving for french fries. I had heard great things about Freddy's fries and decided to try them out. Imagine a Steak N' Shake (the food, the colors, pretty much everything) and you have Freddy's. The fries were, indeed, delicious.They even have their own fry sauce. The burger, on the other hand, not so much. The burger patty was flaky and fell apart and was really messy. My fry craving was satisfied. Mission accomplished.

Really? Right in Unk's parking lot? Do yourself and an honest family a favor and wait 5 minutes at Unk's burgers and eat something that you won't regret in a couple hours. Lee's Summit needs less mediocre chains like this and more family owned establishments where you know what is going into your food and a handshake from the people who prepare your food.

Intersting copy of Steak and Shake. Parking lot is set up so you have to cross drive through traffic. Not very inviting if you are trying to eat in. Burgers are a bit overcooked (much better burgers 100 yards away at Unk's). Frozen custard is very good with large portions The menu is pretty much what you would expect in a Steak n Shake copy, and does cover pretty much whatever toppings you might want. Service is "counter" (similar to mast fast food places), and carry your order to your table. Guess I should mention the fries: shoe string copy of Steak n Shake, but without the flavor. Return?: Doubt it, for a couple of bucks more I'll go the 100 yards to Unk's and have a better burger, friendly table service, and a more service oriented staff. Recommendation: If you have a bunch of kids or teenagers you are in luck. Check it out and be one of the crowd. If you are looking for a good burger meal, you drove right past it.

I was hesitant to actually give this place 3 stars. The hamburgers here are good, don't get me wrong, but they aren't anything to really write home about. I love their shoe-string french fries though! Freddy's is highly comparable to local chain Winstead's or Steak N Shake, but I feel that Winsteads' product is far superior. Steak N Steak actually provides a better value since they have about the same quality but with better pricing. This was the first and only time I have visited a Freddy's. I would like to go back 2-3 more times and get a better feel for the food, but this is my initial take on it.

We just ate at Freddys in Lee's Summit. Freddys has been my favorite place for fries. Today there was no salt on the fries thus no flavor meat also had no seasoning or salt. Shocked , this is the second time it has been so flavorless. What is going on.dont know if I will go back.

The restaurant was clean and busy. The food was hot and fresh. The meal was a lot of food for me. Many people may not think so. I like Coca Cola and they have Pepsi. That would have made it better. I'm glad to see a clean place to eat and staff working to meet the needs.

Ok so their burgers are good. The fries are are shoe string., like steak and shake. I have only done the drive thru... And you know what that means. Clueless, and sad service. Young teenagers. Who do do not care. Plus a very awkward get out if the parking lot is busy. Potholes galore. I hope to be fixed. Ask for the fry sauce, mayo and ketchup b/c it's rarely offered and it's good. A yes, even after my bitching .

This new restaurant just opened a couple month's ago in Lees Summit and is quite the buzz with the teenagers! They love the food and the cool looking atmosphere. We took our son there around 3 pm one day and the place was packed! We also noticed some of his friends who were just out and about come in for an afternoon plate of fries and a drink! Overall, this restaurant is a good addition to the city and should do well because of its location, food quality, and fun theme.

Decent greasy meals but the custard is probably the most mediocre desert you can get. Just go to Culver's if you want custard.
